My Family Beach Portraits provides professional family photos on the beach. From larger family reunion groups to small family groupings we cover it all. A mix of posed and non posed photos so you have a lot to pick from. Photos of kids and teens as groups and as single photos as needed.

Here are some sample photos from Brooke’s family session in Orange Beach. We met them at the Orange Beach point and walked out for the photo session. We started out in front of a area of sea oats and had a nice wind blowing their hair back out of the way.

Part two of their photo session we moved down by the water for more photos. This gives a different look with the water in the background and the Orange Beach bridge.

We shot many portrait photos and some fun good time photos as well. It was a fun session with the Brookes family.

Photographers In Orange Beach

We love the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area Including the Fort Morgan Area as they offer amazing beaches and good parking. When you look at Gulf Shores VS Destin. Gulf Shores has much better beach areas with better parking. Its the same water and sand but on the Alabama coast, you have better roads to get around faster as in Destin you can be stuck in a traffic jam very easy.

The Orange point and most beach rental homes offer great views of sea oats to be in your photos. We can meet you and your family at the Orange Beach point or at a beach rental home or condo that is on the beach. Just make sure you get us a parking pass if needed so we can park.

Any day on the beach expect it to be windy as it is the beach and we have a wind that blows in off the ocean a lot. Also in summer it can be hot out and the sun can be bright.

Sunset Family Beach Portraits

The best time of day for your family beach photos is starting one hour before sunset. We can shoot in the afternoon but do not recommend this ever. In the afternoon it can be so bright out and no one can open their eyes and everyone will be very hot and sweating. This is even worse for small children with the eyes.

Starting one hour before sunset when we start it still may be somewhat bright out but as we shoot and the sun starts to set it gets cooler out and less bright out. By the time we are all dome with the sun now down it can be very nice out with a cooler wind coming in off the ocean. Also with the sun setting we can get a softer look vs the harder harsh light you would get in the afternoon.
