Robert Phillips began his career at age 15, working for his local newspaper in Indianola, Iowa. His early immersion in photojournalism fostered a deep technical foundation that followed him through his time at the Luther College Photo Bureau and his role as an Eagle Scout photographer for the 1985 National Boy Scout Jamboree. With experience serving as the Official Photographer for the Iowa State Fair and having his work featured in national publications, Robert’s eye for detail is unparalleled.

While Robert initially pursued an Accounting degree and an MBA, his passion for photography proved to be his true calling. He transitioned from academia to studio ownership, operating a successful photography business in Ames, Iowa, for two decades.
