Watch out for group photography services. They hire just about anyone with a camera and do no background check and pay them a small amount. So what you end up with is a starting out photographer that has no clue of what they are doing. they do not have very good quality equipment or even a backup camera if something goes wrong. We see it year after year new photographers showing up at the beach just hired and not knowing what to do. Not trained in lighting and many have not lighting at all. Most of them are using the lowest quality cameras and lens and do not even know how the camera even works. They are promised extra money from print sales. After a few weeks, most of them quit and are replaced with the next batch.

We would never book a photography job and pass it on to someone we hired just to make money off of them. It is dishonest not something we will ever be apart of.

Any good photographer is not going to work for a photography group as they will be working on their own not working for peanuts.
