Our beach photo sessions include many large group photos and then smaller groupings. We also take single and sets of people photos. Photos of kids and all family groupings. Based on the location we may shoot at two different locations. We would start shooting in a sea oats area and then end down by the waters edge as the sun is setting.

Your photos will be edited within 24 to 48 hours and posted into a online gallery. You will receive all the edited images as high resolution files so you can make any size prints you want. We include copyright paperwork for making prints.

For this beach session it was shot at a beach home in Gulf Shores. The home is a very large home with a long walkway deck going down to the beach.

It was a bright sunny day out for this family’s beach photos on the beach. We started out with natural light and then moved to using flash as needed as the sun started to set. The Beach Club is a great place to stay and a wonderful vacation destination. They also have a food area out front with games and things to do for the full family.

When planning you vacation book with us as soon as you can as we end up turning down more calls then we can take. Shooting at sunset it the best and only time we offer our beach photo sessions. We do not offer morning sunrise sessions as we edit photos every night late.

We love colors dress in bold colors it looks great on the beach in photos. Or we recommend white shirts and khaki pants, white shirts and blue pants, white shirts and blue jeans, Light blue shirts and blue pants or brown and white or Teal colors
Girls can also wear a white dress if they like.
Shorts are also a good idea.
Small children should be dressed to match adults.

Stay away from reds and bright colors as they tend to over bloom in the sunlight.

Can We Get Wet In The Water?

Yes you can most people do not but if you want to jump in it makes for some fun photos. Also if the adults do not jump in maybe the kids can for some of them having fun the water.

We shoot many grouping of people and some single photos as needed and fun photos a wide mix of photo coverage for you. We may shoot in a few different locations on the beach as well ending by the water.

Sunset Family Photos

The best time for your family session is to start one hour before sunset. This way as we shoot it gets cooler out and we shoot into the sunset colors. This ao helps with everyone keeping their eyes open for the photos.

We do not recommend any morning or afternoon times as the sun can be so bright no one can open their eyes and everyone will be sweating a lot in the hot summer months.

Whats the best time for your family beach photos?

We like to set your start time 45 minutes before sunset. This gives you a mix of some bright day photos and then the sunset photos with the cool breeze and wonderful sky colors. This is the best time of day for beach photos.

In the afternoon in summer it is very hot and very bright out on the beach. And most beach areas will be packed with people so that is not the best time for family photos. Kids have a very hard time opening eyes in the afternoon and on hot summer days everyone will be hot and sweating. So
45 minutes before sunset is the best time.

This Orange beach family beach portrait session was on the beach behind one of the Orange Beach condos. If you are staying at a beach condo and it has a nice beach area behind it we can come to your location to photograph your family beach photos.

We started shooting on the walkway going out to the beach with the younger people and then moves to the beach for all the group and other fun photos ending down by the water at sunset.

The Rollins family stayed at a beach house down Fort Morgan Road with a wonderful long raised up walkway out to the beach. We all walked out to the beach on this sunny day ready for great photos and a good time.
