Here are some sample photos we shot at the point in Orange beach. The Point in Orange beach offers a great location for family photos. From rocks to sea oats and two different water views. The point is at the Orange beach bridge. You can park under the bridge or in the state park parking lot if you can find a spot. This is a state park and can be a very busy area in the summer months.

Fort Morgan Family Photos

Fort Morgan is a great area to stay it offers many beach resorts, beach rental homes and rental condos overlooking the beach. For your family photos, we will come to you. We photograph at all the beach resorts and homes. We have been working in the area as a beach photographer for over 15 years going back to 2001.

Many people spend the day on the beach having fun or fishing. When we come out for your family beach portraits we start one hour before sunset. This is the best time of day as we shoot on into sunset. It is cooler out at this time of day and offers the beach sunset. We shoot with both natural light and off camera flash when needed.

Finding The Right Beach Photographer

Finding the right photographer for your family beach photos is not as easy as it sounds. You will find many photographers website but if you look at their sample photos you will see photos that are not in focus, many have blown out backgrounds or just strange looking colors and bad posing.

Getting to be a good beach photographer takes time and understanding on how the sun works for you or not on the beach. Many local photographers do not use any flash so they are very limited on what they can get on any given day. Many days you do need flash to get good photos based on the sun or clouds out. Many other photographers have no skills in posing people and it shows in their photos. Many like to use lenses that blow out the background so you louse all the good color and look of the beach.

This is why so many people call us every year for their family beach photos. We have shot many hundreds of family’s going back to 2001 to now. We started out over in the Destin Florida area and then years later moved over to the Gulf Shores area. We love the Gulf Shores area much more t offers better beach access points, much better roads and the same quality beach and shopping and food places.

We shoot a mix of posed images and fun photos. Many poses we created others try to copy. We are the innovators of quality beach photography setting the high bar.
